A pedicure is a foot beauty treatment. Your toes will be cleaned, shaped and polished.
A pedicure goes through the same steps as a manicure in that it involves trimming, shaping, cuticle treatment and polish application with additional treatments such as a foot soak, removal of dead and chapped skin with a foot file or pumice stone, putting on a mask, and exfoliating the feet with a foot scrub.
The following tips can help to keep your feet be in great shape:
Keep Them Clean
Give your feet a good scrub in the shower with soap and a cloth or sponge to get rid of any dirt that won't come off.
Exfoliate
Exfoliate at least once a week to remove any dead skin and leave your feet feeling smooth and refreshed.
Moisturise
After cleaning, make sure you moisturise your feet to lock in all that moisture from the shower or bath. This will help keep your feet soft and silky smooth.
Keep Your Nails Trimmed
Just as you trim and manicure your nails, don’t forget about your toenails. Keep them trimmed and clean to prevent ingrown toenails and pain from long nails pushing against the inside of your shoes.
Use Cuticle Oil
By using cuticle oil, you can keep your nails looking great. It protects your nails and cuticles from drying out and splitting, which can lead to nail infection.
