Our salon waxing procedure

Step 1: Hands washed and gloves worn

Step 2: Skin cleansing before starting with a pre-wax skin cleanser and a tissue.

Keeping the skin clean and dry will prevent bacteria from entering the breakouts post waxing.

Step 3: A disposable spatula is used to check the wax temperature

Step 4: Wax is applied carefully in the direction of the hair growth.

The wax adheres better, so it can pull out all the hair from the roots.

Step 5: Wax is removed against the direction of the hair growth while gently supporting the skin.

Step 6: Skin is cleansed of any wax residue using the after-wax oil and moisturizer

After-wax oil can soften and smoothen the skin so it will help to prevent the appearance of bumps by properly conditioning the skin.

Step 7: Any visible hair is then tweezed

Step 8: Soothing lotion is applied (optional)

Cool gels based on naturally calming ingredients like aloe vera or tea tree oil can also help soothe freshly waxed skin.
